Very soon, our team will launch a new promotional campaign for the summer season. A campaign which includes television advertisements of course.
This year, we have called upon a comedian from Ville-Marie, Martin Héroux (holds the role of Mr. Ding Dong in the popular program 1, 2, 3…Géant aired on Télé-Québec). It was a genuine pleasure to work with him and with the Productions Balbuzard team.
We wanted to build up the intrigue and lead the public to visit our website to find answers; a recently renovated site. Our objective is still to surpass ourselves in our excellence at highlighting our beautiful and large region and to attract an ever-increasing number of visitors.
To view these television advertisements, go to our compteVimeo. (account).
I certainly did not want to spill the beans, but am nonetheless still tempted to explain what we are referring to throughout our advertisements.
A call to nature buffs
« Real vacations…» because the region really allows you to kick back and relax.
« It all started hanging 75 feet in the air with the peregrine falcons. » We are talking about the parc national d’Aiguebelle (Aiguebelle National Park) suspension bridge.
« Then, we jumped on our bikes and cycled on the green trail, now I call this the REAL green trail!». There are sections of the Route Verte scattered here and there on the territory, but we can refer to Ligne du Mocassin inTémiscamingue and the ParcLinéaire Rouyn-Noranda / Taschereau.
« After, in the kayak, we traced back the passage of the glaciers… » Observe the passage of the glaciers, lava flows and 2,7billion year old rocks at the Aiguebelle National Park.
« We even walked in the footsteps of John Wayne. » John Wayne walked the Grande Chute hiking path in Laniel, Témiscamingue.
« And tonight, we will gaze the billions of stars in the sky; the most incredible sky I have ever seen! » Photographer Mathieu Dupuis shot this sky and presents the results on his blogue.
« We’re lucky! And moreover, we’re here for a week! » A minimum to feel the essence of Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
A call for explorers
« Real vacations… »
« At first, we got lost in the giant labyrinth… », the large labyrinth of Parc Aventure Joannès à Rouyn-Noranda which comprises five from Tree to Tree courses, the rendezvous place for the family.
«…and then we took a picture where the water goes its separate ways…» A phenomenon you can observe at the Aiguebelle National Park. To the south, the water flows toward the Saint Lawrence and to the north toward James Bay.
« We tasted daisy buttons… » those prepared by Vers Forêt, which also offers an excellent Thé du Labrador Glacé (tea) for summer.
« …and finally refreshed ourselves with water that was filtered for over 8 000 years! » The best water in the world is found and drunk in Amos. At the puits municipal (municipal wells) they will explain why.
« And I thought I had reached the summits and found myself singing close to my favourite artist; we could TOUCH him! » L’Abitibi-Témiscamingue invites you to over twenty important fêtes et festivals (celebrations and festivals) during the summer season.
« We’re lucky and, to top it off, we’re here for still another week! »
We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you. Have a glorious summer!
